Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has revised its prepaid plan Mithram Plus for its Kerala Telecom Circle customers. The BSNL Mithram Plus plan was launched in Kerala as a replacement for its previous Mithram Plan.
BSNL Mithram Plus plan comes with a 75 days validity for Rs. 109 prepaid recharge. This prepaid BSNL plan is designed to provide a cumulative allowance of 10 GB of data along with Unlimited regular voice calling.
Mithram Plus plan offers unlimited calls and data to its customers. To any network, including in Mumbai and Delhi circles, customers can enjoy unlimited calls.
Update: With effect from April 1, 2021, BSNL has discontinued the Mithram Plus plan (Plan 109). As a result, users are asked to renew their plan with any of the other plans when their validity expires. In addition, we suggest that you use Amazon Pay for hassle-free and dependable recharging, payment of other bills, and so on.
Although the plan is valid for 75 days, the freebies included in the Mithram Plus recharge are valid for only 20 days.
As we mentioned earlier the new prepaid plan is introduced as a replacement for the former “New Mithram” plan under which the state-owned telecom operator offered voice time worth Rs. 40 and Rs. 500 MB data, both were valid for 15 days at Rs. 49.
Before converting the Mithram Plus plan calls to truly unlimited, expiry of the provided voice calling freebies, for all on-net local and STD calls, users were charged at 1.2 paise per second, while off-net local and STD calls would cost 1.5 paise per second.
In addition, local on-net national SMS messages are paid at a rate of 70 paise per message, and off-net SMS messages are available at a cost of 80 paise per message.
The new prepaid plan Mithram Plus 109 provides four-time freebies calling and five-time freebies of data compared to old plans for Mithram or Deepam.
It should be noted that nevertheless, the Mithram Plus package will be valid for 75 days, the voice and data freebies will be valid for 20 days.
BSNL authorities have also told that the old Mithram Plan Vouchers (PV 49) and Deepam Plans (PV 44) will not be available for new connections and migration.
Existing Deepam plan customers will be automatically shifted to the Mithram Plus plan if they have sufficient balance in the main account.
Any BSNL mobile user can extend the validity of the Mithram Plus Plan or they can migrate from other plans. They’ve needed a simple plan voucher recharge for ₹109.
Freebies are applicable to the Rs 109 Validity Recharge / Migration. The charges will be as per the base tariff schedule after freebies.
For hassle-free mobile recharge, validity extension, and bill payments, it is better to use Amazon Pay.
