BSNL 247 plan is active in circles around Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

The STV 247 has an extra two-day validity over the existing plans of Rs 186 and Rs 187, which offers 100 SMSs a day for 30 days.

BSNL has been offering call benefits to MTNL users since last year. The STV 247 will fall into this category and will be available in the Delhi and Mumbai circles to MTNL users shortly.

There are however some drawbacks to this plan. Under the Fair Usage Policy (FUP) applicable therein, voice calls are limited to 250 minutes a day. The same holds for the Rs 186 plan also.

Along with the introduction of the new 247 plan, BSNL has revised its existing Rs.998 and Rs.1,999 plans too.

All these plans can be recharged through Amazon Pay in a reliable and hassle-free manner.

The Rs 998 is now valid for 270 days, and the Rs 1,999 bundle includes two months of Eros Now content.
