How to Link Aadhaar with the BSNL Mobile Number?

IVRS-Based Method for Linking Aadhaar to BSNL Mobile Number

BSNL launched the IVRS method to link  BSNL mobile numbers with Aadhaar numbers (BSNL mobile Aadhaar linking) without going to BSNL offices.

IVRS number to be dialed: 14546

There are two optional steps. Follow the steps according to the category you are in.

If the Aadhar-linked mobile number and dialling number ( BSNL number for re-verification)  are the same, follow the procedure given below.

  1. Dial IVRS number 14546 from the BSNL mobile number.
  2. You will be asked to choose a language.
  3. Choose a language (English, Hindi, Tamil, or any regional language)
  4. Enter 12-digit Aadhaar UID carefully.
  5. Confirm the 12-digit Aadhaar number (Dial 1 to confirm)
  6. UIDAI will send an OTP message to Aadhaar linked mobile number
  7. Enter the OTP manually to complete the verification process.
  8. You will receive a message with CAF SERIAL No with the name form BSNL
  9. Congratulations! Now you have completed your linking process.

If Aadhaar linked Mobile number and the Dialing number (BSNL number for re-verification) are different, follow the procedure given below.

  1. Dial IVRS number 14546 from the BSNL mobile number.
  2. You will be asked to choose a language.
  3. Choose a language (English, Hindi, Tamil, or any regional language)
  4. Enter 12-digit Aadhaar UID carefully.
  5. Confirm the 12-digit Aadhaar number (Dial 1 to confirm)
  6. UIDAI will send an OTP message to Aadhaar linked mobile number
  7. Enter the OTP manually to verify the Aadhar UID
  8. Enter a 10-digit BSNL mobile that you want to verify.
  9. BSNL will send an OTP to that 10-digit mobile number
  10. Enter the OTP to complete the verification
  11. You will receive a message with CAF SERIAL No with the name form BSNL
  12. Congratulations! Now you have completed your linking process.

Direct (Offline) for BSNL Mobile Aadhaar Linking

In addition to the above-mentioned online method (IVRS method), anyone can link their Aadhaar to the BSNL mobile number using the traditional method. Just follow the steps below for this purpose.

  • Visit your nearest BSNL customer service centre with a copy of your Aadhaar card
  • Provide your mobile number to the BSNL executive
  • Then you will receive an OTP on your mobile
  • Give this OTP to the executive
  • Provide your Biometric when you are asked for it.
  • Within 24 hours you will receive an e-KYC confirmation message
  • Answer this message as “Y” to complete the e-KYC process
  • Shortly you will receive a verification confirmation message
  • Then your Aadhaar will be linked to the BSNL mobile number

Please note that this is a completely different process from linking a mobile number to the Aadhaar account. To register or add a mobile number to your Aadhaar details, you must visit any of the Aadhaar enrollment centres directly.
